Arctic Husky Hikes (Fairbanks)

Arctic Dog Adventure Company  Guided nature walks with our active and friendly Siberian Huskies.  A chance to step outside of the city and explore the northern boreal forest with an experienced guide and huskies from the oldest Siberian Husky Kennel in the world.  Come visit us at our off-grid homestead just north of Fairbanks, where you will have the chance to greet, cuddle, and fall in love with each of our 25 huskies.  Choose your favorite for an easy walk through magical old growth forest to the top of a north facing ridge, where fantastic panoramic views of the Chatanika River Valley and the White Mountains await.  We will pause to appreciate the view and enjoy drinks and home baked treats before descending through ferns, evergreens and cranberry bushes back to the kennel.  This tour is suitable for all ages, families with children, and for those who love dogs! Fountainhead Antique Auto Museum (Fairbanks)

Pioneer Museum and the Big Stampede Show (Fairbanks)

The Pioneer Memorial Park Museum features the history of the gold rush that led to the establishment of Fairbanks and Interior Alaska; early placer mining; history of settlement in Fairbanks and other interior gold rush towns; development of transportation in the interior of Alaska.  The Big Stampede Show is a unique presentation of the hardships faced by the Stampeders to the Klondike Gold Rush of 1898 and Fairbanks Gold Rush of 1901-02.

Running Reindeer Ranch (Fairbanks)
